On April 30th, 2019 the Office for Health Equity and Inclusion (OHEI) awarded the Staff DEI Advocate award to Reginald Beasley, Admissions & Diversity Coordinator at the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (OGPS). This award was given during the third annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Symposium hosted by OHEI. The Staff DEI Advocate award was awarded to Reginald based on nomination testimonials submitted to OHEI on his behalf. An astonishing eight students in total, from a range of Medical School programs, nominated Reginald based on his contributions to strategic DEI initiatives and his impact on true culture change in the OGPS community.
