Let’s Talk: Microaggressions and Strategies for Resiliency

June 27, 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

At this Let’s Talk event, we will discuss how to catch our unconscious biases to prevent microaggressions and tools you can use to respond to microaggressions when they do happen – whether that be to you or someone near you. It is known that microaggressions can lead to stress and anxiety as well as decreased productivity and self-esteem, so participants will also leave being more aware of strategies for coping and building inner resilience.

This event will be led by OGPS Wellness Counselor, Dr. Kate Hagadone, and OGPS Admissions and Diversity Coordinator, Reginald Beasley.
