Associate Director, PIBS
Nicole is one of the PIBS Associate Directors and acts as head of the first year “T house” PIBS community. Her main responsibilities include support for the PIBS 800 course, as well as advising, supporting and enhancing community building within the PIBS community. Nicole is also part of the OGPS Wellness Committee that works to enhance mental and physical health resources to support the total well being of the trainees, faculty and staff within PIBS. Nicole became an Assistant Professor of Microbiology & Immunology in 2014, and her lab works on carbohydrate degradation in human gut bacteria.
