Zaneta Nikolovska-Coleska, PhD
Associate Director, PIBS
Dr. Nikolovska-Coleska is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology, and is currently serving as director of the Molecular & Cellular Pathology (MCP) Graduate Program, co-director of the NIH T32 Training Program in Translational Research, and as an Associate Director for PIBS. She received her B.S. degree in Pharmacy, and both M.S. and Ph.D degrees in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius, Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. She completed post-doctoral training at UM and in 2008 joined the faculty of the Department of Pathology. Dr. Nikolovska-Coleska’s research aims to discover, design and develop small molecules as new molecularly targeted therapies for cancer with a focus on protein-protein interactions involved in controlling apoptosis and epigenetics.
