U-M PREP
U-M Post-baccalaureate Research Education Program

U-M PREP is part of the training efforts of the NIH’s Diversity in the Biomedical Workforce initiative and is supported by the NIH Division of Training, Workforce Development, and Diversity. U-M PREP is a University-wide program that encourages applications from a diverse pool of trainees who hold a recent baccalaureate degree in a biomedically relevant area of study to pursue a research doctorate. Through this program, our U-M PREP trainees have the opportunity to work alongside one of our faculty to strengthen their research skills and increase their competitiveness in their pursuit of a Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences.
